Infrastructures

There are two laboratories in Madrid and Valencia. Two highly representative geographical areas with premises that have:

• Tasting rooms with 12-14 individual cabins that are acclimatised, ventilated and designed in accordance with standard UNE 87004.
• An automated data acquisition computer system.
• An industrial kitchen equipped to produce different types of products (combined convection-steam ovens, microwaves, hotplates, frying devices, etc.)
• A room where consumers are welcomed and panels are trained.
• A room for group dynamics.
• A training room.
  

The team
Our team is made up of professionals from various domains with more than 20 year’s experience who work together to improve the end result. It includes experts in marketing, sensorial analyses, food technology, sociology and market research, etc.

consumolab can supply high-value resources to undertake a wide range of studies and projects:

• Consumer databases: we have an increasing number of adults, adolescents and children who voluntarily register in our database to participate in our studies.
• Pre-recruitment of consumers with varying socio-demographic characteristics and profiles (gender, age, consumer habits, professional categories, etc.)
• Panels selected and trained for discriminative and descriptive studies (preparing sensorial profiles) for each product category.
